The Apostle Paul went from being an arrogant, self-righteous man who hated the Christian faith, to a man who saw the Risen Jesus, and then a man who devoted the rest of his life to spreading the Christian faith around the world. In the process, the Holy Spirit used him to write 13 of the 27 books in the New Testament.
