Join this close “knit” group of crocheters and knitters in creating items for many worthwhile causes (scarves & hats for cancer patients, the homeless, NICU baby items, Pregnancy Care Center). Bring your own yarn. 

The mission of West Avenue Compassion is to meet the immediate needs of our community while furnishing them the tools to MOVE FORWARD.

Our amazing team of regulars and part-time volunteers are committed to helping others. We help foster healthy families and create a stable environment for both the families and our entire community.  

Each month (3rd Tuesday), we serve a warm meal and words of encouragement to local first responders.

Beginning the weekend of Dec 7-8, our new series, Re:Gift, will help ous discover and treasure the gift God gave us, and show us how we can Re:Gift that to others in our lives. In a time when material consumerism is our national obsession, we can focus instead on the amazing free gift of God to us and others.

Join us Saturday at our 5:00pm Service or Sunday at our 10:00am or our 11:30am Services.

This is a wonderful opportunity for those who want to spend Thanksgiving with their 'church family.' Bring cards, dominoes and board games to enjoy after we finish eating. TEN HUT!! Begin your Veterans Day celebrations with other Fellowship Airmen, Sailors and Soldiers on Sunday, 10 Nov 24 at 1300 (1:00pm) in the Worship Center for a special Veterans tribute. A traditional military reception will follow with light finger foods and celebratory cake. All Veterans, friends and family are encouraged to attend and share this special time together. Wearing of military apparel is encouraged! DISMISSED!

Baptism is a beautiful outward faith expression of the cleansing of our sins through placing our trust in Jesus Christ who died and rose again to pay for our sins. If you have never been baptized, call the church office and let’s talk about this decision together. Sunday Baptisms will be held in our 11:30 am service.
