ANCIENT PATHWAYS | SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINES - New Sermon Series
In Jeremiah 6:16, the prophet writes these words: "This is what the Lord says: 'Stand by the crossroads and see and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find a resting place for your souls.' ”
There are time-proven, ancient pathways on which we can walk that will go far in helping us grow. As we ease into the summer season and the hectic pace of life slows down a bit, let's challenge ourselves to invest the time to go deeper in our faith. Spiritual disciplines help us cultivate a deeper relationship with God by promoting growth in character, compassion, and understanding. They can also lead to significant changes in behavior, attitude, and outlook, providing a sense of purpose and meaning in life, as well as understanding God's will and making wise decisions.
Join us for the next 4 weeks as we examine a few major spiritual disciplines that can have a real impact on our spiritual growth and maturity. We will look at the Bible's perspective on discipline, meditation, simplicity, and listening.
